Assistant Tour Operations Manager Opportunity
Our client, who is a tour company has been around since 1976 and one of the most highly regarded tour companies. One of their current Tour Operations Manager is retiring after 30+ years there and why they are looking to bring on a new Tour Operations Manager.
This individual is a full-service international travel agent who is responsible for assisting the Manager with the support of group departures, from all phases of the trip inception to operation, including cost and itinerary publication, contractual fulfillment with suppliers, sales and customer service, departure materials, and post-tour follow-up, etc.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Proof & publish tour itineraries and manage within website
- Creation of tour packets, manifestos, evaluations forms and documenting, passport lists, and more
- Assist with tour bookings – pricing, items for departure, collecting, etc.
- Ensure CRM system is maintained and current
- Additional clerical duties to support Tours
Qualifications include:
- Strong customer service experience
- Previous tour experience of 2+ years, a plus
- Strong CRM experience, plus MS outlook, Excel & Word, and Sabre air ticketing system knowledge
- College Degree, preferred
