About this job

Adecco is hiring for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for packaging and preparing customer orders for shipment, as well as receiving and handling incoming materials and equipment. They adhere to established procedures and shipping regulations to ensure timely delivery to customers. The pay is $18.00 an hour and is Monday-Friday 6:00am-3:30pm.

Essential Functions:

Retrieve orders from stock or designated staging areas. Prepare products for shipment, ensuring alignment with customer orders and packaging items securely as needed. Coordinate with common carriers to schedule pickups and meet customer delivery deadlines. Load outgoing products onto trucks and unload incoming materials, conducting inspections and verifying accuracy of bills of lading. Assess the quantity and quality of received materials before placing them into storage. Fulfill production needs by retrieving materials from storage and delivering them as required. Utilize banding equipment to secure boxes for shipment and apply appropriate labels. Complete and maintain all necessary paperwork associated with shipping and receiving tasks. Other Duties:

Climbs ladders, stairs, etc., emphasizing body agility. Maintains balance to prevent falls on narrow, slippery, or unsteady surfaces.
