Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist

We are looking for a highly organized, multitasker with hands-on QuickBooks Online experience to join our finance team.

The ideal candidate has experience managing both accounts receivable and accounts payable processes with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, post, verify and record payments.
• Enter financial data including invoices, expenses and payroll data into accounting software/CRM/spreadsheets.
• Ensure invoices and payments are correctly processed in a timely manner.
• Address and correct any discrepancies in accounts and billing.
• Assist Controller in reconciling accounts each month.
• Manage overdue accounts.
• Process credit card payments.
• Create reports regarding customer accounts as needed.
• Assist with analysis of data and reports at month end, quarter end, and annual financial reporting.

• High school diploma
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
• Experience in roofing/construction/home repair industry, preferred
• Minimum 3 years relevant AR/AP experience
• Ability to resolve account reconciliation issues quickly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with QuickBooks Online
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent multitasking skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team (small office environment)
