Penmac Staffing has partnered with a local Lumber company. We are now accepting applications for Truss Builders.

The duties of a Table Truss Builder include, but are not limited to: Building trusses, knowing your job duties and what is expected of your job performance. Using the proper techniques and PPE. Ensuring accuracy of the truss being built. 

Job Summary:
Essential Functions:
  • Building trusses from build sheets.
  • Lifting boards from a cart to the table
  • Using a hammer and a tape measure to ensure proper connections
  • Use of a table press to set the plates onto the trusses
  • Ensuring your station is clean and safe at all times
Responsibilities:
  • Follow company rules and guidelines for proper procedure and safety
  • Good work ethics. Show up on time each day ready to work
  • Check equipment daily to ensure it in good working condition prior to using.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Perform quality checks on product being produced
  • Use proper and safe lifting techniques.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs 
  • Comfortable using power and hand tools
  • Ability to reach tape measure and blue prints.
Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
Starting wage $18.50 per your.
