Special Education Teacher

Job Summary: Licensed/credentialed teachers for public school setting

• Provides instruction, assessment, and program planning for special education students with learning deficits and behavioral challenges
• Monitors and evaluates student progress toward IEP goals and identifies instructional material and protocols needed for progress toward goals
• Works in multidisciplinary approaches to promote student self determination
• Utilizes various teaching methodologies to promote learning, guided by the principles Applied Behavior Analysis
• Familiar with or open for training around the Comprehensive Application of Behavior Analysis in Schools (CABAS model)

Education or Training Equivalent to:

• Bachelors degree, required
• Moderate/Severe Teaching Credential, required or
• Mild/Moderate Teaching Credentials w/AAAA certificate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

License/Certification:

• Special Education Certification (Required)
