Job Summary:
The Comptroller at Stanley will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company's auto industry branch in Belfast, Maine. This individual will work as a full-time, individual contributor and will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success and stability of the organization. The Comptroller will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will work closely with other senior leaders in the company.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions
- Prepare and present financial statements and reports to senior management
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Monitor cash flow and make recommendations for improved financial performance
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals for annual audits and tax filings
- Conduct regular reviews of financial processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and increase efficiency
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations that may affect the company's financial operations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are aligned with overall company objectives
- Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the auto industry
- Experience in a leadership or managerial role
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
