Job Description

A Surety Bail Contracting Specialist will provide support for the contracting and licensing group to ensure all processes for new and transitioning agents are completed timely and efficiently.

What you will do:

    Prepare and review contracts and documents to accurately submit for processing.
  • Pull background and credit checks on new applicants as directed.
  • Maintain data integrity by entering agent records into both Captira and Map My Customer.
  • Process electronic and paper state appointments.
  • Prepare and distribute Qualifying Powers of Attorneys as requested.
  • Process appointment renewals per each states requirements.
  • Supply agents with bail related indemnity forms upon request.
  • Communicate with clients, the Department of Insurance, and other internal/external contacts.
  • Prepare and scan documents into digital files using Image Right.
  • Notarize documents upon request.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

  • Proven ability to communicate both verbally and written.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines to complete assigned tasks.
  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and the ability to learn and utilize industry specific software.
  • Will abide by departmental policies and procedures, including authority levels, to comply with C&F's risk management controls

Salary ranges are available for all positions at this location, taking into account roles with a comparable level of responsibility and impact in the relevant labor market and these salary ranges are regularly reviewed and adjusted in accordance with prevailing market conditions. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $34,800.00 to a maximum of $58,000.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee's contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
