Aerotek's client is looking for individuals interested in building a CAREER with one of America's leading electrical component suppliers in their brand new fast-paced distribution center. An Inventory Control Specialist is a hybrid Receiving/Stocking position that will be using RF Scanners on the automation line ensuring products being run are accurately. *Must be comfortable with operating equipment, heavy lifting, and standing for long hours*

Shift:

Monday through Friday with occasional mandatory Saturdays.

05:00AM to Finish

(typically a 10-hour day)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage physical daily cycle counts as well as research and correct inventory related variances.
  • Learn the "in's and out's" of their brand new automation systems.
  • Train and coach others on processes and performance.
  • Provide accurate data and reports to the Inventory Control Supervisor and/or Manager with the use of Eclipse and/or Excel.
  • Observe, audit, record, report and correct discrepancies from all areas of operations involving inventory control.
  • Scan items and orders with RF scanners.
  • Work with the returns team.
  • Work effectively in a multi-tasking environment.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years Fulfillment/Distribution and Inventory Control experience (preferably in electrical industry).
  • 1+ years Leadership experience.
  • Ability to motivate, foster teamwork and provide positive reinforcement to a team/s.
  • Ability to work as a team member with other employees, supervisors and management.
  • Ability to effectively train, coach and provide performance feedback.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer software's including Microsoft Office (365), WMS (preferably Eclipse) or other relevant computer software.
  • Ability to analyze moderately complex data.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work on various shifts when the need arises.
