This is not a machine operator role; we are specifically looking for a skilled machinist who can contribute to the programming and optimization of CNC machines.
Responsibilities:
G-Code Programming: Create, edit, and optimize G-Code programs for CNC machines, ensuring precision and efficiency in machining processes.
Machine Setup and Calibration: Proficiently set up CNC machines, calibrate tools, and perform test runs to ensure proper functionality and adherence to specifications.
Tool Selection and Maintenance: Select appropriate tools for machining operations, monitor tool wear, and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks on machined parts to verify adherence to design specifications and make necessary adjustments to the programs as needed.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and production teams to understand project requirements, provide technical insights, and contribute to the continuous improvement of machining processes.
Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues related to CNC programming and machining, implementing corrective measures to maintain smooth operations.
Requirements:
Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a CNC Machinist with a focus on G-Code programming.
