Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Part Time (32+ hours weekly) – Urgently Hiring

Our client, who is a Board-Certified Pediatrician and located in the Southwest Austin (78746) area is looking to bring on a Part-Time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join their pediatric office. This clinic is locally owned pediatrics practice that provides a supportive atmosphere, great work environment, and family-focused setting.

They are looking for a part-time, direct-hire PNP to work three (3) to four (4) days a week from 9am to 5/6pm with the doctor most days. The days worked will typically include 8 to 10 well checks in the morning, plus 10 to 12 sick visits in the afternoon.

No calls, no nights/weekends, no high acuity

 

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) JOB DESCRIPTION includes but not limited to providing optimal care by:

• Ordering and interpreting common laboratory results
• Diagnosing and treating illnesses
• Ordering immunizations
• Performing physical exams

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree w/a major in nursing, required
• Successfully passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN)
• Pediatric Nurse Certification, preferred
• 1+ year experience

This is an hourly position at a Pay Range of $50 to $52/hr.

Please note because the clinic is smaller, they do not offer typical benefits, such as group insurance options, etc. They take that into account when looking at hourly rate too. In addition, PTO is not official, but they work with you when time off is needed to ensure you can take time you need, when needed.
