About this job
Butcher shop looking for cutters and baggers. This job takes whole fish and cuts to customer specifications, vacuum seals finished product, disposes of remains and cleans shop. Daily shifts, starting at 6am, consist of, cutting fish with knives, portioning, sorting, bagging fish, vacuum sealing portions, then storing in refrigerator or freezer. All work is done standing. Ideal candidates are able to lift 50-100 pounds, stand for 8+ hours, have reliable transportation, are on-time, take initiative, pay attention to detail, work quickly and safely, as well as communicate in a friendly clear manner. Must be available for a minimum of 3 shifts per week.
