Overview

Provides underwriting technical support to renewal underwriters. Main responsibilities include assisting with renewal file preparation, endorsement requests, follow up with agents, binding process, and miscellaneous tasks. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust's mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization

Responsibilities
    Renewal file prep
  1. Provide instruction to processing department for endorsement requests
  2. Fulfill brokers requests for, loss runs, copies of policies, copies of invoicing, etc.
  3. Agency support of general questions regarding renewal status, endorsement status, cancellation status, billing inquires, commission questions, etc.)
  4. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned
Qualifications

Required:

  • Entry Level Underwriting Assistant that will support Workers' Compensation Underwriters
  • High School Graduate or GED as minimum education requirements.
  • Proven research and analytical skills to identify, gather and organize information to provide recommendations
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced atmosphere
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and One Note)
  • Ability to learn new software applications


Preferred:

  • Some college preferred.
