Stamping Operator

Stamping Operator:

Penmac is now recruiting a Stamping Operator for an expanding aluminum fencing manufacturer.  

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Operation and set-up of machine presses to produce parts in accordance with quality specifications.

• Maintains a constant watch of die and stock to prevent misfeeds and jamming of parts.

• Examine the finished product to ensure no quality defects and meets customer internal standards and specifications.

• Obtain first piece sample approval making appropriate die and machine adjustments.

• Meet production efficiencies and maintain quality checks.

• Tag and move parts, containers, and totes.

• Other duties as assigned.

NECESSARY SKILLS, BACKGROUND & COMPENTENCIES: 

Previous manufacturing/metal fabrication experience is preferred. 

Skill to utilize material handling equipment, hand and measurement tools, and safety equipment 

Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures. Standing 8-10 hours/day and ability to lift 50 lbs.
