Job Description

Maintain grounds and gardens at Calvary Cemetery. Ideal candidate prefers physical labor working outdoors.

Duties include:

Trimming grass around headstones
Digging and pouring foundations to set headstones
Tamping and seeding graves
Planting, weeding, watering flowers
Assisting with burial services

Qualifications:

Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job and endure lengthy exposure to unfavorable weather conditions
Must be able to walk long distances (3-5 miles) and for lengthy periods of time (up to 6-7 hours)
Must be able to bend, squat, reach, push, pull, and lift on occasion up to 70 lbs.
Must have reliable transportation and be punctual

Requirements:

Jeans (not torn or distressed) and T-shirts with sleeves
Heavy work boots (steel-toed preferred)
Valid PA Vehicle Operator's License preferred
