Duties of the staff accountant:

• Support various departments with accounting tasks
• Maintain and reconcile accounting records
• Complete month-end financial closing activities
• Analyze general ledger accounts for accuracy
• Prepare monthly financial reports for management
• Contribute to financial report development and distribution
• Assist in year-end financial audit preparations
• Ensure timely and accurate tax remittance and filings
• Handle daily cash reporting and with the budgeting process
• Manage fixed assets, including additions and disposals
• Perform additional treasury and accounting tasks as needed

Requirements of the staff accountant:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business
• Minimum of two (2) years of related work experience
• Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
