We are currently looking for Civil CAD Technicians to join our team in our Phoenix/Tempe location.

The Civil Engineering CAD Technician will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed drawings and plans using computer-aided design and drafting (CAD) software. The candidate will work closely with our team of engineers and project managers to ensure that all design and construction documents are accurate, complete, and meet project requirements.

Key Responsibilities: Create and maintain detailed drawings and plans using AutoDesk products Assist engineers in the preparation of construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and details Use CAD software to create 3D models of proposed projects Prepare drawings for permitting and construction purposes Help prepare construction bid documents and perform quantity takeoffs Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy and compliance with project requirements and industry standards Ensure that all documents and drawings are properly filed and updated in a timely manner Keep abreast of new developments and advancements in CAD software and technology and recommend changes to improve work flow and efficiency

Qualifications: Experience as a CAD technician in a civil engineering setting preferred but not required Associates degree in drafting or civil engineering technology or related field is preferred but not required:

Exposure to AutoCAD preferred but not required

Experience with Civil3D or other civil engineering specific software is a plus

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Good verbal and written communication skills essential for advancement

Experience with 3D modeling and the ability to create 3D models is a plus

Familiarity with building codes and industry standards is preferred

Must be authorized to work in United States

Comparable military experience (12T MOS) is a plus
