What you'll do

• Maintain dialog with the SMS Service Shops, SMS Sales & Customer to offer solutions for equipment repairs & or modernizations
• Develop Standard Repairs ,Modifications, Modernization packages that can be scaled across multiple work shops/ customers/equipment
• Provide Repair methods (Shops & field Service), component modernization, Maintenance Contracts, recommended spare parts proposals Etc.
• Creates& Standardize Product inspection reporting and proposal methods
• Create Internal & External Core product training documents/presentations
• Collaborate with OEM Engineer for Engineered repairs & enhancements
• Collaborate with OPS team to create and implement digital inspection & ERP system integration through out our service locations
• Create Data Base of Spare Components that can be altered to cover multiple customers equipment
• Support customers operation issues by analysis of IBA Data, Dimensional inspection, etc. utilizing onsite resources to perform inspection, and gather data to provide a Maintenance, Modernization & or New solution for the operational issues.
• Travel: 40%

What you'll need

• A.S. Technical degree
• A.S & or B.S Engineering degree
• Technical experience
• 2-4 years industry experience
• Ability to interoperate Engineering Drawings & Documents
• Previous Mechanical experience
• Hot & Cold Rolling Mill exposure
• Bearing inspection & assembly experience
