Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire warehouse staff for smooth day-to-day operations.

  • Coordinate with production teams to optimize material flow and support manufacturing schedules.

  • Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of materials within the facility.

  • Foster a culture of safety within the warehouse, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

  • Conduct regular safety training for warehouse staff and monitor adherence to safety protocols.

  • Participate in safety inspections and promptly address identified concerns.

  • Implement and maintain efficient inventory control processes.

  • Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure accurate inventory levels.

  • Collaborate with the procurement team to optimize stock levels and prevent shortages.

  • Coordinate maintenance activities for warehouse equipment, including forklifts and conveyors.

  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to address facility-related issues promptly.

  • Ensure that all warehouse equipment is in good working condition and properly maintained.

  • Facilitate effective communication within the warehouse team and with other departments.

  • Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate shipping and receiving activities.

  • Address and resolve any operational issues that may arise during the production process.

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations.

  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
