GARDEN CENTER MERCHANDISER (WM)

Garden Center Merchandiser

Position: Seasonal Part Time Hourly non-exempt

Reports to: Merchandiser Regional Manager (servicing Walmart)

-Build and maintain a positive working relationship with store personnel

-Merchandise live good displays

-Ensure markdown process is utilized properly

-Manage inventory levels and maintenance of live goods

-Communicate with Supervisor with questions or issues

-Adhere to company policy, including hours, policies, and utilization of required apps

General Duties and Responsibilities

-Unload racks, build attractive displays

-Condense merchandise and sign properly

-Remove distressed product

-Keep area clean and well-organized

-Minimize markdowns and shrink

-Daily communication and follow up in a timely manner

-Understand and follow all Grower Merchandising policies

-Assist in building display tables and racks

Skills and Qualifications

-Able to download and use required apps, per company policy, every work day

-Able to perform the physical demands of the job: standing and walking for prolonged periods, reaching and bending repeatedly, lifting, pushing and pulling safely up to 50 pounds

-Work in all weather conditions

-Manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly

-Self- motivated, hardworking, energetic, detail oriented, able to work independently

-Available to work weekends
