Position Summary: The person in this role is responsible for efficiently organizing storage spaces, aiding in transportation within the facility, and ensuring that items are stacked or positioned as needed.

Primary Duties:

  • Manually stacking products onto pallets or shelves according to specific instructions, ensuring that items are safely and securely stacked to prevent damage.
  • Stacking pallets
  • Stretching wrapping
  • Manually loading and unloading trucks, containers, or other transport vehicles, ensuring that items are handled carefully and efficiently to maintain product integrity.
  • Keeping track of inventory levels, organizing stock, and ensuring that products are stored in designated locations.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. This includes using appropriate lifting techniques, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), and following established safety guidelines.
  • Inspecting products for defects or damage during the stacking or packing process, reporting any issues to supervisors or quality control personnel.
  • Collaborating with other warehouse staff, supervisors, and management to coordinate workflow, address any issues, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Keeping the work area clean and organized, performing minor maintenance tasks as needed, and reporting any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required, associate degree preferred
  • At least one year of related experience in a manufacturing or warehouse facility
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and ability to make independent judgments.
  • Knowledge of warehouse procedures and inventory management
  • Ability and willingness to work in a team environment and interact effectively as a team contributor supporting company initiatives.
  • Skill and ability to use PC and widely used software packages, i.e. Microsoft Excel, Work, and Outlook
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
