MW Partners is currently seeking a Program/Project Manager to work for our client who is a well-known leading utilities company.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Manage a portfolio of complex grid interconnection agreements to Client transmission and distribution systems, from contract execution through termination.
  • Act as the primary point of contact to external and internal customers on the project and contractual matters.
  • Operates in a project management capacity.
  • Regularly interacts with customers to provide landmark updates/guidelines, contract interpretation, project updates, etc., throughout the project lifecycle
  • Leads meetings, develop agendas, summarizes and documents decisions and action items, and tracks project landmarks.
  • Draft various contractual-related documents, including amendments to existing interconnect agreements, consent to assignments, termination notices, default notices, initial sync notices, and permission to operate notices.
  • Applies technical and contractual knowledge to solve problems and customer requests and move projects through contract milestones and achieve PTO.
  • Participates in technical discussions with engineering and project managers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5 or more years of overall experience in contract or program management.
  • Experience working with contract regulations and agreements.
  • Experience managing or reviewing regulatory agreements/contracts related to FERC and/or CPUC regulatory tariffs.
  • Electric Utility Industry experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
