Responsibilities - Parts Counter Person/Supervisor:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the auto parts counter
• Supervise parts counter staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
• Issue parts and accessories promptly to technicians from the service parts counter
• Track all incoming and outgoing parts for the dealership
• Handle incoming phone calls efficiently
• Sell parts to meet monthly forecasts
• Control files, reference books, and other paperwork at the parts counter
• Look up and sell automotive parts to all customers: shop, over the counter, wholesale, via internet as well as the phone
• Take inventory of stock
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts

Qualifications - Parts Counter Person/Supervisor: 

• 2+ years of Dealership Parts Counter experience
• Dealership Parts experience in related industries such as RV, Marine, and Powersport are welcome to apply!
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in computerized inventory management systems
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Self-motivated to work independently and as well as part of a team
• Knowledge of automotive systems and parts terminology
• Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred, but motivated, experienced parts counter persons will be considered!
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
