About this job
- Assist staff with management of construction materials testing projects
- Assist with management of project progress with respect to budget and collection efforts
- Marketing and business development with a focus on maintaining regular client contacts
- Testing of soils, foundations, reinforced and post-tensioned concrete, masonry, structural steel, and fireproofing and asphalt pavement
- Laboratory tests
- Daily field reports
- Project meetings and assisting in project resolutions
- Preparation of proposals
- Scheduling, training, and oversight of field technicians
- Special inspections of structural components
What We're Looking For
High School Diploma or GED required
4-6 years of experience in Construction Materials Testing, Special Inspections, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and related experience
- Certifications are required for all types of testing being performed: including Field Testing, Soils Lab Testing, and Concrete Lab Testing. All applicable certifications are required in accordance with the Technician Certification and Pay Policy.
- If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required
