Patient Clerk

LHH seeks a patient centric Patient Clerk in Eureka, CA

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional assistance to providers and members through various channels, addressing inquiries related to eligibility, primary care physician selection, and claims with a commitment to prompt and courteous service.
• Skillfully manage inbound calls, directing them to the appropriate staff or department while responding to routine inquiries. Initiate outbound calls to schedule patient appointments after hospital admissions.
• Register patients accurately and proficiently by checking Insureds name, relationship, and policy number are correct.
• Complete and accurate Medicare screening questions answered on all Medicare patients.
• ID Insurance card and Physicians orders are scanned into Meditech.
• Collect copayments/deductibles

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: High school diploma/GED is required.
• Minimum of 1 year in healthcare front office, customer-facing experience.

3 month contract | Monday to Friday | 8am-5pm | onsite | Eureka, CA 95501 | 22-24/hr.
 

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
