Description:

Maintenance Technician

Job Type: Full time

Shift Schedule: M-F 6am-4pm with some night calls and Saturdays

Salary: $25-30/hr

** Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

  • Safety of yourself and others (Lock out, Tag out)
  • Maintaining & repairing of pelleting & processing equipment that includes 3 500HP Mills, drag and belt conveyors, auger systems, and silos
  • Helping Mill operator with die changes and other mechanical issues
  • Help with installation of new equipment
  • Welding and fabricating of used and new equipment
  • Testing of spark detection and other fire prevention equipment
  • Drag and belt conveyor repairs
  • Building maintenance
  • Assist in production as needed


Requirements:

Maintenance Technician Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required with vocational training highly preferred
  • One to five years mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills in an industrial work setting.
  • Pneumatic & basic hydraulic knowledge preferred
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
  • Will need to be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs unassisted
  • Ability to work all shifts and call ins if needed
