Job Description:

MSK Basking Ridge, New Jersey, Cancer Care Center will provide a dynamic outpatient setting for leading edge cancer treatments. MSK Cancer Care re-designs the way in which cancer care is provided, with an emphasis on innovation, continuous data-driven improvement, and an optimized patient experience. We are currently seeking an Infusion Nurse to join our new team.

You will:

  • Work within a Nurse-Physician based Ambulatory Care Practice Model
  • Handle a select caseload of patients both Adults and Pediatrics receiving infusions on an outpatient basis.
  • Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood products, and other medications.
  • Act as part of a multidisciplinary team provides continuity of care throughout various stages of treatment and follow-up.
  • Participate in the implementation of clinical support programs to ensure efficient care throughout the healthcare continuum.
  • Perform patient assessment, offer patient and family education, and symptom management.
  • Participate in an individualized training/orientation program geared to providing nursing care in an ambulatory setting.

 

You need:

  • New Jersey State RN license and BSN
  • 1.5 years of related chemotherapy experience preferred
  • Chemotherapy certification strongly preferred
  • Medical Oncology experience strongly preferred
  • Pediatric Infusion experience strongly preferred

 

Hours: 4x10 hour days (7:00 am to 8:30 pm flex hours) with float to NJ regional sites as needed
