Manufacturing Quality Engineer

MANUFACTURING QUALITY ENGINEER Fusco Personnel is currently recruiting a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to work for a growing manufacturing organization in the Albany, NY area. This position is 100% on site. The successful candidate will oversee the Plant Floor for this organization and ensure product delivery meets Company’s internal quality standards with regard to standard assembly processes, mandatory/general assembly specifications, final inspections standard, work-in-process standards and raw material standards. Additionally, this role will be the QA/QC expert for the organization. Requirements: Associates in Engineering or related scientific field. 3 - 5+ years' experience in Process/Manufacturing Engineering or Quality Assurance in a plant environment. Process improvement knowledge in a manufacturing environment such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc. to drive operational excellence systems is a Plus. Six Sigma Green Belt training or certification is Desired. Ability to interpret and comply with code requirements of ASME and adherence to ASME Section I, IV and VIII, UL CSA codes. Prior supervision experience or CQE Certification is a plus. High level of self-motivation, initiative, and flexibility. A Must. Strong computer skills for Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PDF PRO Ability to interpret basic drawings. CAD or SolidWorks experience a Plus.
