Founded in 2006, Bach Team is a rapidly growing homebuilder that specializes in both single family homes and multi-family apartment projects. Over the years, they have diversified and expanded adding divisions for an excavation company, Property Management company, Land Development company, Home Furnishings company, and an Internet company.


Bach Team is seeking a full-time Project Coordinator to join our Multi-Family Construction division. This is an in-office position and will not be performed remotely. The job is to be performed during normal business hours Monday through Friday.


Project Coordinator Job Summary

The Construction Project Coordinator is the manager of all construction documents. They are the construction department's subject experts on building plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, ProCore system, and any other documents related to the construction of the project. The
coordinator works closely with the Project Manager, Superintendents, Purchasing, and outside consultants, such as the Architect and Engineers, to ensure that the most accurate information is available to all parties working on the project. The project engineer must understand the workflows of a project from preconstruction through closeout of the project and must be constantly communicating with the various entities, as issues arise on the project.


Project Coordinator Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with project staff to create a strategic action plan and cost estimates of materials, time, labor, and other resources required to complete the project.
  • Facilitates and contributes to the development of project plans and designs.
  • Recommends and/or analyzes materials, equipment, and practices used in the project.
  • Assesses the competence, capabilities, resources, and financial status of vendors.
  • Supervises the progress of development project.
  • Compares the actual cost of the development project to estimates.
  • Collaborates with the design group to change plans if problems arise.
  • Analyzes equipment, systems, processes, and systems to identify modifications to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs.
  • Prepares periodic progress and cost reports for leadership.
  • Ensures compliance with codes, guidelines, best practices, and policies.
  • Collaborates with the operations department to identify and troubleshoot problems.
  • Collaborates with project engineers from other plants to share problems and solutions.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Project Coordinator Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent budgeting and cost containment skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Reading blueprints, and plans
  • Understanding the construction process
  • Understand IRC, IBC, and ANSI code
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Basic understanding of ISO 9000 design requirements.

Project Coordinator Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline.
  • At least three years of experience in project management, construction, engineering, systems design, or other related field.
  • Time utilizing ProCor or other construction management software.
  • Utilizing BlueBeam Revu or other similar software
