Job Description
Must have active TDLR electrician's license. Applicants that do not have a current electrician's (apprentice or journeyman) license will NOT be considered for this position. Master Electricians will also be considered, but may have do journeyman duties for the time being.
Apprentices with at least 3 years of experience. 21-24/hr.
Be able to pass Drug Screen and background check.
Must be able to proficiently install conduit, MC cable, PVC.
Must know applicable NEC codes that pertain to the above. Must be able to use various types of hand tools and power tools.
Be able to work at different heights and use scissor lifts. Communicate effectively with Foreman and other crew members.
Maintain high quality standards in workmanship. Follow safety guidelines and procedures. Be able to read blueprints.
Apprentices with 4 years or more experience. 24-26/hr.
Same as above but must be able to read blueprints and complete task with minimal supervision.
Journeyman 26 – 32/hr.
All the above plus:
Pull wire and make up junction boxes per NEC standards.
Make up panels and switchboards per NEC standards. Communicate well with Foreman and other crew members.
Install lighting controls per plans. Install and wire up light fixtures.
Be very proficient in Conduit routing, bending, and installing per NEC.
