Job Description:

As a Journeyman Painter Field Supervisor, you will be entrusted with overseeing and managing a team of painters across diverse industries, such as construction, automotive, and industrial painting. Your role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities to ensure project success, adherence to quality standards, and the safety of your team. Here's an overview of your key duties:

1. Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of painters.
  • Delegate tasks and projects based on individual skills and experience levels.
  • Provide training to new team members and enforce safety and quality protocols.

2. Project Management:

  • Strategically plan and schedule painting projects to meet deadlines.
  • Procure necessary materials, tools, and equipment and ensure their readiness.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion.

3. Quality Control:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
  • Address any deficiencies promptly and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure adherence to proper painting techniques and material usage.

4. Safety Compliance:

  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols to mitigate risks of accidents and injuries.
  • Provide comprehensive safety training and ensure the use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to uphold safety standards.

5. Budget Management:

  • Monitor project budgets, including labor and material costs.
  • Optimize resource allocation to stay within budgetary constraints.
  • Report budget discrepancies to higher management and propose cost-saving measures.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Requirements: Steel-toed boots are mandatory. All materials will be provided.
