PURA - SENIOR MANAGER, INFLUENCER MARKETING AND EXPERIENTIAL  ROLE

We are looking for a motivated, high-energy Senior Manager, Influencer Marketing to join the Pura digital marketing team. In partnership with the Director of Communications, this role will be responsible for building brand advocacy and driving awareness through strategic partnerships with highly engaged influencers. The role will work cross-functionally with Pura’s internal marketing and creative teams, as well as with external agencies who impact this area of the business. 

The ideal candidate is at the forefront of influencer marketing trends and has a creative and innovative approach that can elevate traditional programming. This candidate should be knowledgeable on up-and-coming influencers that can help further establish Pura as a leader and trailblazer in the premium home fragrance space. The position requires strong communications skills, an aptitude for multitasking and an overall passion for the creator space. 

INFLUENCER MARKETING:

  • Manage influencer relationships, both organic and paid, serving as the brand connection point to build strong and deep connections with ambassadors 
  • Facilitate creator outreach, contract negotiation & development for paid UGC/advocacy campaigns, results monitoring and collaborate on execution
  • Conduct ongoing creator discovery and recruitment to ensure continued growth of influencer community
  • Manage influencer budgets/track KPIs and lead creative briefing process
  • Support overall product seeding strategy from inception to completion
  • Tap into established relationships with content creators, managers and talent agencies 
  • Stay current with best practices, strategies and industry standards related to influencer marketing, public relations and social media and how they can connect to overall brand strategies
  • Partner with the Social/Paid Media teams to identify and collaborate on content creators for organic social media content needs
  • Create an organized and effective content pipeline from influencers that can be used on paid channels
  • Use influencer marketing tools for search & discovery, database management, and reporting on results

EXPERIENTIAL MARKETING

  • Oversee agencies and external partners responsible for events and brand activations 
  • Help to develop elevated strategies that enhance brand awareness and visibility for Pura
  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant vendors, contacts and key opinion leaders within the fragrance and lifestyle spaces 
  • Introduce both traditional and forward-thinking ideas that inspire connection and maximize engagement with desired audiences

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6-8 years of relevant IM experience; beauty/wellness experience preferred 
  • Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships with brand ambassadors, creator agencies, etc.
  • Experience with talent contract negotiation and briefing process
  • Remote role with monthly travel to Utah-based office
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate success of campaigns, content and programs
  • Experience in event management and execution
  • Excellent creative judgment to identify on-brand partnerships and content
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a remote work set-up
  • Positive attitude, empathy, and high energy
  • Pop-culture obsessed and has a finger on the pulse for the newest, hottest, latest in beauty, fashion and wellness trends
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape
  • Knowledge of Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Advertising or Communications preferred
