FLSA Status:Non-Exempt (Hourly)Position Reports To:Shipping & Receiving Team LeaderLocation:Piedmont, SC
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Staging unfinished orders at machines, loading hoppers, remove finished orders from machines & forklift inspections
- Responsible for all shipping preparation.
- Participates in receiving inspection according to Receiving Inspection Procedure.
- Participates in customer pickups.
- Supports purchasing relative to the inspection of incoming product quality
- Works with Logistic Coordinator and Receiving Administrator to meet the needs of customers.
- Responsibilities may include special packaging and handling per customer demand.
- Trained in forklift, fire extinguisher, hazard communication, safety rules.
- Trained in common carrier shipments, UPS, RMF truck routes.
- Trained in chemical receiving procedure.
- Handles pick up of returnable drums.
- Working knowledge of scales.
REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS
- 3 years forklift experience
- Computer skills, conversion from US to metric
Requirements to apply:
- Associate must be employed at RMF for 30 days.
- Associate must have the necessary skills and/or aptitude required for the position requested.
- Associate must have less than 7 Attendance Points.
- Associate must not be currently subject to any disciplinary restrictions that would prohibit consideration for the opening.
- No safety incidents in the last 90 days
- Minimum of a 3.0 score on last PADP/Review.
