2nd Shift Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver - Ishpeming

Eat. Sleep. Move Beer. Repeat: Our 2nd Shift Warehouse Associates work full-time, Monday-Thursday evenings October to May 1pm - 11pm, (That's right...a 3-day weekend!) or until all orders for the next day have been picked and our delivery trucks are fully loaded with beverages. For the summer months, delivery assistance is essential! Your schedule will change to Tuesday-Friday mornings May to October 6:30am - 4:30pm, or until all deliveries have been made. A Day in the Life of a Warehouse Associate (October - May)

• Arrive to the warehouse on time and ready to work
• Collect rider pallet jack, scanner and iPod
• Pick cases of beverages assigned to you through your iPod
• Use rider pallet jack to move product and organize the cases on a skid
• Once the skid is built, verify accuracy and wrap the skid to secure the cases for shipping
• Place the skid in the loading zone
• Load wrapped skids on the trucks using a forklift or pallet jack
• Organize and clean the warehouse

A Day in the Life of a Delivery Driver (May - October)

• Arrive to the warehouse in the morning to perform your pre-trip inspection
• Verify accuracy and proper loading of product on your truck
• Drive your truck to assigned grocery stores, gas stations, bars and restaurants
• Accurately unload product and deliver each case and keg to a specified area
• Collect payments for product
• Resolve and report customer issues and requests
• Safely operate delivery vehicle according to DOT rules and regulations
• Return to the warehouse after all deliveries have been made
• Verify any returns, empty containers and payments collected

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
• Current Commercial Driver's License- Chauffeur's License
• 19 years of age or older
• Customer service skills
• Basic computer skills to use an iPad and warehouse management software
• Flexibility to work with varying shift end times
• Attention to detail and a sense of urgency to meet deadlines with accuracy
• Ability to lift and carry an average of 30 pounds, repetitively, and move up to 165 pounds
• Forklift experience preferred
