Apprentice through 1st Class Relay Technician

Green Mountain Power is seeking a Relay Technician to deploy innovative technologies that create a safer, more resilient, cost effective and lower carbon energy system. This position is primarily responsible for performing functions related to the installation, removal, maintenance, test and repair of transmission, distribution, control, and communication equipment as utilized at Substation & Generation facilities. Work is varied in nature. The successful applicant will apply technical knowledge of power systems, electrical control, communication, and protection equipment to work performed. You will work under general supervision and in compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. This position requires a high degree of self-motivation, ability to work independently, safely, and the ability to meet goals and deadlines.
