Department: Emergency

Status: Part Time Flex 48-60

Shifts: Variable 12 hours shifts that include every other weekend

The Emergency Department is a fast paced-dynamic department with a highly experienced team. The staff consist of physicians, registered nurses, technicians and health unit coordinators who are close knit and work exceptionally well together.

The department has over 10,000 visits a year and holds Time Sensitive Emergency designations in Trauma, Stroke and STEMI through the State of Idaho. Bonner General also participates in the tele-stroke program through Sacred Heart.

Technician: The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is looking for a challenging, yet exciting career, caring for a broad span of illness and injury. We are looking to add quick thinking, technically savvy people who can handle a rapid environment fueled by a steady drip of adrenaline and a periodic bolus of the unexpected.

Health Unit Coordinators are an integral part of this department. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is looking for a challenging, yet exciting position. Education:
Successful completion of a Certified Nurse Aide course or EMT course

Experience:
Prior CNA experience preferred

Licensure/Certification:
Current State of Idaho Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
Current BLS certification
