Position Summary: This position, IT Specialist, is responsible for supporting all WindRiver and providing both onsite and remote technical support to for our employees and affiliated businesses. This position requires a high level of customer service and technical troubleshooting abilities.


Responsibilities:

  • Accurately diagnose and repair various copier, printer, and computer equipment, applications, and accessories
  • Provide onsite and remote technical support via phone, email, and remote access to devices
  • Log in to employee desktop and laptop devices to troubleshoot and repair issues
  • Collect information and lead users through diagnostic procedures to determine issues
  • Escalate technical and employee issues to management and third-party vendors as needed
  • Accurately log and track calls/issues using ticket database while maintaining documentation
  • Perform installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of devices and software
  • Partner with Human Resources to prepare new hire materials prior to onboarding
  • Train onsite users on all hardware and software upon hire and as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of the company's financial, material, and intangible assets
  • Adhere to WindRiver's regularly updated COVID-19 response bulletin
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 2 years' experience in technical support
  • Technical or Associates degree preferred; High School diploma required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to remain positive in both service and relationships with staff, guests, and Members
  • Excellent skills with the Microsoft Office 365 Suite
  • Excellent track record of communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Work as a team player with a professional demeanor
