Salary: $15.00 Per Hour + $25 Per Quoted Lead Bonus

Position:         Customer Service Rep (Lead Generator)

Dept:              Sales & Marketing

Location:        In OFFICE at Granville (Sales Office) - Muncie, Indiana

Reports to:    Assigned TEAM Telemarketing Manager

 

Hours:            Monday through Thursday - 8 am to 5 pm

                        Friday - 8 am to 12 pm 

                          (1 Hour Lunch Break Mon - Thur  &  Year around work)

 

Employment Type:  Full-Time (36 hours per week)

 

Compensation:  Hourly rate is $15.00 per hour, plus an additional $25 per quoted lead bonus.  Raises are possible monthly, depending on position performance.

POSITION PURPOSE 

 The Customer Service Rep's (Lead Generators) support our outside and inside sales staff.  Ability to identify quality prospects and obtain permission to schedule appointments to do proposals. 

 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND BASIC TASKS

Contact prospective Business to Business (B2B) customers to ascertain needs and opportunities, via telephone in our call center.  (No Residential calling)

 

Gather all relevant information, including size, age, and owner contact information for building/roof.

 

Record data into contact management database for distribution to sales staff.

 

Maintain accurate and up to date information in database.

 

 

GOALS

 Generate at least TWO actionable leads per week.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 18 years of age.

 

High school diploma or GED preferred.

 

Basic computer knowledge including the use of Outlook, Excel, and Word are helpful.  The position also requires telephone skills, and minimum basic typing skills.

 

Some experience in a CALL CENTER or TELEMARKETING is preferred, but not required.

 

Having knowledge of Microsoft access is preferred, but not required.

 

Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Drug Screen & provide 2 forms of I-9 Citizenship approved identification.

 

 

SKILLS/ABILITIES

Honest, dependable, self-motivated, persuasive, good communication skills.  Extroverted and able to handle rejection and stress and keep a positive mind set.  Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and good customer service phone skills.

 

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

Position requires the ability to work in close contact with other call center Lead Generators in a call center office environment.
