Fleet Manager - Mechanic

Responsibilities 

• Capability and desire to do mechanical work on vehicles and equipment
• Maintain GPS and maintenance tracking software
• Maintaining and managing the company fleet: from all the company vehicles to small equipment
• Organize and continually update shop inventory 
• Purchasing/ordering all necessary fleet and equipment maintenance items, and items for repairs 
• Keep the shop clean and organized
• Team member training on machine and equipment use

Qualifications and Skills:

• Good mechanical knowledge
• Advanced understanding of basic computer programs including Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail) and ability to learn software used by the company 
• Knowledge of landscape equipment 
• Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• The ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a high-energy environment
• Excellent communication skills - oral and written
• Must be confident, motivated, respectful, a team player, and have a positive attitude
