Job Description: We are looking to hire a candidate to manage the quality, schedule, budget, critical issues, deadlines and safety goals of each project they are assigned. Our Project Managers oversee our projects from start to finish interfacing internally with our drafting, production, field, contracts and accounting departments. Also, communicating externally with construction managers, architects, project owner, vendors and subcontractors.

Duties:

• Review all paperwork from estimating and meet with estimator to discuss scope of project.
• As part of the Design Team, compare numbers of all frames, windows, etc. with the architectural drawings.
• Review all addenda and project specifications; Design and engineer projects.
• Supervise drafting of project.
• Communicate with general contractor and architect to work toward approval of shop drawings and to resolve any issues/questions that arise.
• Attend Jobsite Meetings
• Review cut list and order material.
• Coordinate manpower (including subcontractors, if required).
• Coordinate delivery of material and commencement of fabrication.
• Review and approve expenses related to project
• Provide all required paperwork and/or material for close outs.
• Provide billing numbers to accounting.
• Continually monitor job costs to ensure project stays within quoted amount.
• Resolve any issues that are impeding interim or final payment.
• Resolve any warranty issues that arise after project is completed

Qualifications:

• High School Education
• 5 or more years Project Management in Commercial Construction and a BA in Building and Technologies or a BA in Construction Management
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Ability to use Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
