ABOUT THE ROLE

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is an elevated role in our hotel's restaurants. This person is both a do-er and a leader, working in positions in the restaurant and supervising staff, to ensure all policies and procedures are followed and that guest expectations are being met and exceeded.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Maintain dining areas of service according to the hotel's quality and service standards
  • Provide ongoing direction, supervision, and monitoring to food and beverage staff
  • Conduct walk throughs of dining and storage areas to ensure all areas are clean and organized
  • Cover extra shifts as required, in the case of staff shortage, to ensure service standards are maintained
  • Ensure all policies and procedures, as they relate to quality standards, uniform policy, and cash handling are followed

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED, post-high school education preferred

  • Minimum of 1 year in hotel customer service role

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Outgoing personality

  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally

  • Team player

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Ability to learn and ask for help from management
