Maintenance Technician II

Participates in inspection, troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, repair, replacement and overhaul of pumps, compressors, engines, generators, motors, switch gear, mechanical equipment, control systems, electrical systems, piping systems, and other fixtures and equipment. Applicants must provide a Resume.

• Basics of pneumatics and hydraulics
• Maintenance of supply units for power engineering
• Knowledge of sensor technology (I/O)
• Basics of control technology in system control -
• Reading and interpreting circuit diagrams circuit diagrams and technical drawings
• Knowledge of pressure media, pressures, forces
• Basics of speeds, volume flow
• Operating modes of the line system
• System Safety
• Follow work instructions for scheduled recurring inspections.
• Independent way of working, pro-active cooperation in daily business
• Independent maintenance of order and cleanliness
• Working through daily, and weekly checklists under supervision
• Basic knowledge of wastewater treatment
• Basics, axles and shafts, bearings
• Knowledge, guides, seals, sealants
• Understanding friction, thermal expansion
• Physics of shaft-hub connections
• Maintenance of electric motors and gearboxes
• Independent execution of maintenance work on certain machine components
• Perform preventive maintenance according to the check sheets.
• Report findings and find solutions for professional repairs.
• Safe handling of common measuring and testing equipment
• Advanced knowledge of quality management
• Basic knowledge of filters and filter circuits -
• Basic knowledge of chemicals and hazardous material
• Proper Protection against chemistry and hazardous material

• Perform other duties as assigned. Occasionally, work during evenings, weekends, and holidays may be necessary.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar surface treatment plant, or similar type of facility.
• Math and physics skills required.
