2nd/3rd Shift Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Randstad is assisting in finding an Maintenance Technician for a manufacturer in Smyrna, TN.. This is a DIRECT HIRE permanent opportunity.

This is a Direct Hire, permanent job. Salary ranges are based on skill level of employee, range begins at $25.00/hour and goes to $36.00/hour.

In your role of Maintenance Technician at this industrial manufacturing facility you will be:

• Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial robotic and automation production equipment for a safe and productive work environment
• Prioritizing and self-scheduling maintenance work around production activities to achieve both production and maintenance goals and deadlines
• Making repairs and improvements to equipment in the production process to ensure product quality and promote continuous improvement
• Complying with, demonstrating, and imposing all company safety rules and regulations; auditing, reviewing and editing

Qualifications include:

• Electrical (24V-480V, AC, Single and 3 phase power, DC Voltage, control systems, motor controls.
• PLC programming (creating, editing, troubleshooting)
• Ability to make decisions and solve complex problems on a wide variety of equipment
• Analyzes circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings
• Must have excellent communications skills and be able to work well with others
• Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift
• 18 month certification (tech school) or Degree (2 yr or 4 yr) in Mechatronics/Multi-Skilled Maintenance or
• Three or more years experience in an applicable field of work
