Available Shifts:

1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (Some OT Required)

Job Description:

Snelling has an immediate opening for a Fabricator in Louisville, KY. This position will be responsible for reading blueprints, fabricating materials, and assisting other fabricators to ensure on-time and high-quality items are fabricated to multiple end users. The Fabricator should be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Job duties include:

• Fabricating parts and assembling large structural beams.
• Read blueprints
• Have experience with MIG Welding
• Ability to run the following equipment: Ironworker, MIG welder, metal saw, grinder, drill press, tube bender, and other misc. shop equipment
• Quality control to meet customer and internal standards
• Track items in the shop using software system
• Ability to work efficiently

Fabricator Requirements:

• 3-5 years metal fabrication experience
• Ability to interpret fabrication drawings
• Computer literacy
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Strong math skill
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to meet all deadlines even with changing priorities
• Continuous improvement and quality focus
