Quality Inspector

Standard load procedures would be followed by work instructions that direct employees to hang parts on the appropriate racks in the appropriate manner, while aligning parts with pegs on racks. Depending on the parts, the employee may need to prewash parts. Employees must be able to follow verbal and written instructions, be flexible and adaptable to quick changes.

• Identify/remove/tag carts needing repair and move to maintenance

• First responder to ‘cart jams’ in your defined area

• Identify/tag paint racks needs repair

• Conduct a weekly layered process audit of the load line area

• Ensure load line department complies with 5S standards

• Replace a good/repaired cart on-line for any cart taken off-line for repair

• Monitor and document/tag damage shipping racks

• Provide input for load line personnel’s performance evaluations

• St management in establishing load line department goals

• Identify and elevate uses to management

• Request materials and resources needed to accomplish work objectives efficiently and effectively

• Maintain inventory levels of department supplies

• Oversee paint rack storage, inventory and identify/tag racks needing repair

• Assist in other daily production positions as required by management

• Maintain daily activity sheet/board by turn

• Maintain master production schedule noting any changes during the shift

• Provide (as requested) input and assistance in scheduling the production line

• Assist as needed in sampling new parts and documenting load line preparations
