Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. As the Software Quality Assurance Analyst, you review applications and develop test plans to discover issues or defects that must be fixed or requirements clarified. You should be able to work independently and create easy-to-understand test results for supervisors and other team members. This is a largely work-from-home position, but may require onsite testing when physical hardware is being tested, or team-based activities are required. Relocation to Nashville metro area is required.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review client requirements for applications to determine the scope of the project
  • Evaluate software to determine areas that need testing
  • Create a test plan for review with the team to make sure requirements are covered and regression testing is conducted.
  • Utilize SQL Server and other tools to set up test data to support the tests.
  • Test application for problems and defects in the development environment.
  • Collaborate with the development team to make adjustments and get defects resolved.
  • Create reports on status of application for management

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (preferred)
  • 2+ years of relevant QA technical experience developing test plans for end user software and industrial automation
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Available to travel to customer sites for better understanding of the processes.
