Payroll Specialist

Our client in the North Cincinnati area is seeking a qualified Payroll Specialist. The main function for this role is to process biweekly payroll, complete necessary clerical and payroll functions needed to complete tasks. If interested, please apply via the link to be considered.

Essential Functions:

• Solid working experience with Paycor required
• Experience with Time on Demand preferred
• Audit department time sheets daily.
• E-mail Group Leaders/Managers with time issues.
• Process corrections in time clock database.
• Review attendance reports daily for potential pay related issues.
• Monitor Leave Requests to ensure they are being processed by Group Leaders/Managers in a timely manner.
• Enter payroll deductions for for various items such as garnishments, uniforms, etc.
• Enter employee direct deposit forms into payroll database.
• Transfer time clock data to payroll system biweekly for processing.
• Transmit payroll to Paycor.
• Maintain payroll files and box files for storage.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma.
• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• Previous Payroll experience.
• Data entry and good record keeping techniques.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of GAAP
• Excellent organization and priortization skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
