Design Engineer

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from accredited four-year college or university with 5-7 years of experience in product design, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in product design.
• Specific experience in aircraft lavatory design.
• Experienced with commercial aircraft interior design.
• Strong engineering skills, including structures, mechanisms, and systems.
• Ability to research and investigate design solutions independently.
• Proficiency in 3D solid modeling and drafting; NX preferred. Proficiency in Catia, Solidworks, or other CAD programs is also acceptable.
• Skill in interpreting 2D drawings, including understanding GD&T and performing tolerance stackups.

Preferred Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in NX.

Job Responsibilities:

• Own and manage multiple product design projects simultaneously.
• Develop innovative design solutions for aircraft interiors, focusing on lavatories.
• Conduct independent research and investigations to enhance design solutions.
• Prepare and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
