Aerotek is looking to hire Stocker / Material Handlers

Pay starting at $18/hour

Monday - Friday, day shift

Description:

Primary Purpose: Responsible to receive goods and stock them appropriately, ensuring materials are clearly marked

and easily found by associates.

Essential Functions:

. Receive goods for the shop.

. Prepare boxes and places in slots for selection.

. Proactively keep slots replenished before they are emptied.

. Check quantities against stocking reports.

. Identify and remedy insufficient and/or misplaced product.

. Accurately record product moves to ensure correct product and accurate counts.

. Inform Coordinator of any variances in stocking requirements.

. Continually meet assigned production standards.

. Observe all safety procedures and use proper safety equipment including but not limited to eye, ear, and hand

protection.

. Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment at all times.

. Operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times.

. Promote strong company image and maintain positive working relationships at all times including professional

behavior with customers and department co-workers.

. Provide outstanding customer service at all times.

. Perform work according to established company policies and procedures.

. Perform other duties as requested.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Requirements:

. Education:

o High school diploma or equivalent.

. Experience:

o One years of inventory and/or shipping receiving experience.

o Good written and verbal communication skills.

o Strong attention to detail.

o Proficiency in computer systems including Microsoft Office software.

o Ability to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division including

understanding fractions and percentages.

o Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple written and verbal instructions.

o Ability to understand, perform, and retain various job related training, operational, and safety procedures.

o Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and decision making related to routine duties within set company

standards
