Crew Technician

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking dedicated, reliable, and efficient candidates for a General Labor position with a Foundation Repair Company in Pleasant View, Tennessee. This position will pay $16 / hour, and the hours are M-F from 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM with a 30 minute lunch break.

Responsibilities:

• Dig trenches and set braces to support the sides of excavations
• Clean up materials upon job completion
• Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction job sites
• May operate hand and power tools of all types: jack hammers, nail guns, as well as a variety of excavating equipment for digging, skid steers, and other equipment
• Maintains a safe work environment by complying with Company procedures, rules and regulations
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Must be able to carry materials and equipment up to 95 pounds on a repetitive basis
• Must be able to lift 95 pounds from ground to standing on a repetitive basis.
• Able to climb in and out of 4 ft. holes, with a good range of motion in arms, legs, etc.
• Able to work 10 hours per day
• Construction background is preferred 
• Able to meet at shop and drive in teams to sites with company vehicles
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently and with other members of the team
• Capable of repetitive physical movements such as bending, stooping, and lifting
• Capable of working outside regardless of weather
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE such as gloves, work boots, safety glasses
