Food service and dish washers

We are now accepting applications for food service positions and dishwashers for a senior living facility located in Saint Augustine FL.

Areas of Responsibility:
Greet and seat residents and guests courteously.
Assist residents in sitting and rising from the table as needed.
Serve food efficiently and professionally.
Label and date all food items.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in dining and service areas.
Interact with residents, guests, and associates in a friendly and professional manner.
Take food and beverage orders accurately.
Demonstrate knowledge of food presentation and ingredients.
Clear tables promptly according to company protocol.
Deliver and retrieve trays from residents' apartments as required.
Assist other associates as necessary.
Keep dining room, chairs, windows, floors, and work areas clean.
Assist with dishwashing as needed.
Sweep carpets and vacuum daily between seatings.
Attend and participate in meetings and training sessions as directed.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
Monitor residents for signs of inability to function independently and report to the Dining Services Director.
Report maintenance issues or hazardous situations promptly.
Ensure compliance with regulations regarding residents' rights and maintain confidentiality of information.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Special Requirements/Certifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior food serving experience preferred.
Attention to detail, flexibility, safety awareness, and teamwork skills required.
Good organizational, rapport-building, and communication skills necessary.
Current food handler permit and Hepatitis A vaccination certification may be required.
Positive Criminal Background Screening required.
Annual documentation of tuberculosis screening may be required.
Adherence to Company Drug Free Workplace policy is mandatory.
